Glen has been Managing Director of the Channel Group since our inception in 2013.
Prior to co-founding Channel, he has worked for a variety of investment management firms in multiple jurisdictions, including the Bank of Bermuda, Credit Suisse, Pinnacle and Solaris. Glen also serves as Director of our Responsible Entity, Channel Investment Management Limited, as well as a number of our affiliate entities’ Boards.
Glen holds a Bachelor of Commerce and MBA and is a Fellow of CPA Australia.

Des also restructured the operations of two other BNY Mellon affiliates: Amherst Holdings in 2019, and EACM in 2020. He also created and spun off a trading services subsidiary – xBK – the same year, that was subsequently transferred to the Asset Servicing division of BNY Mellon. At the time of his departure, Des was also responsible for representing BNY Mellon's minority ownership interest in the Siguler Guff, a multi-strategy private equity boutique.
Prior to BNY Asset Management, Des served as Head of Investment Process Oversight at Bridgewater Associates. Before Bridgewater, he was the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Standish for over a decade growing the business from $35billion to over $175 billion during that period.
His investment management experience spans more than three decades and includes roles as Chief Operating Officer at Pareto Partners, where he coordinated the subsequent sale of the business to Mellon Investments Corporation; Head of European Pension Strategies for Deutsche Asset Management; and Head of Risk and Treasurer for GM Asset Management. He also held senior positions at Russell Investments and the London Stock Exchange, earlier in his career.
He is active in the local community and as a philanthropist and has served on multiple boards, including the Alzheimers Association (MA/NH Chapter), RIAN Immigrant Center, Inly School, and has been active with the American Ireland Funds.
Des holds an MPhil in Management Studies from the University of Exeter, where he also served as an Honorary Research Fellow, and a BA from University College Dublin. He also completed an Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.

Prior to this, she spent over seven years working closely with Advisers and their high net worth clients as a Senior Marketing Manager at Perpetual Private across super, insurance, estate planning and wealth management. Angela commenced her career at Macquarie Investment Management where she spent ten years working in various businesses and across a broad range of asset classes, including private equity, structured products, agribusiness, equities, fixed income and margin lending.
Angela holds a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University and Social Media Marketing and Digital Strategy Certificates with the University of Sydney – Centre for Continuing Education.
Byron co-heads distribution, overseeing the development of the national distribution strategy. His responsibilities include evaluating prospective investment manager partnerships, implementing new investment strategies, and leading national strategic account and platform partnerships.
Byron has over 15 years' experience in financial services across distribution, risk management and accounting. Prior to joining Channel, Byron was a Sales Director for Janus Henderson Investors servicing wholesale clients and intermediaries in NSW and the ACT. Prior to this, Byron was a Risk and Compliance Manager, reporting to the Head of Risk and Compliance Asia Pacific, at Janus Henderson Investors (formally Henderson Global Investors). Byron was also a Manager within the Financial Services Audit Division at KPMG Sydney servicing some of Australia's leading investment management, banking, and superannuation administration corporate clients.
Byron holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics from the University of Sydney, is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds a Masters of Applied Finance.

Greg is responsible for the oversight of legal, risk and regulatory matters, supporting the business by providing commercially viable and risk-based solutions. He also assumes the role of company secretary for the Channel Group of companies.
Greg is an experienced financial services legal professional, recognised in the funds management industry for his in-depth knowledge and commercial acumen. Greg’s breadth of knowledge is derived from his past work experience, including Perpetual Limited as an in-house legal adviser for more than seven years, as well as an external lawyer for reputable law firms such as Norton Rose and King & Wood Mallesons.
Greg is regularly involved in industry and Treasury discussions on regulatory reforms impacting the Australian financial services industry, and has been a member of the Australian Regulatory Committee of the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) Australia for more than five years. He was also a finalist for the Corporate Counsel Awards in 2020 and 2021 in the category of “Financial Services Lawyer of the Year”.
Joanne is responsible for People and Culture.
She is focused on building positive work environments for each of our teams nationally, and manages all personnel issues. Joanne has been part of Channel since inception of the business, and prior to her progression to People and Culture, worked in various finance and business administration positions, dealing with the majority of staff. Previously, Joanne worked for five years with Solaris Investment Management in an office management capacity. Before Solaris, she worked with the investment management team at Suncorp Investment Management.
Josh leads the Investment Operations, Product and Client Services teams. He is responsible for the efficient management and delivery of operational functions to our Partners and Channel fund products.
Prior to the establishment of Channel in 2013, Josh was Head of Investment Operations for Solaris Investment Management for a period of two years. Prior to this, Josh held the role of Manager of Investment Operations at White Outsourcing (for eight years), a third party fund administrator offering outsourced services to boutique funds management groups.
Luke co-heads distribution, overseeing the development of the national distribution strategy. His responsibilities include evaluating prospective investment manager partnerships, implementing new investment strategies, and leading national research and investment consultant partnerships.
Luke has over 18 years' experience in the financial services industry working across distribution, investment research and product development. Prior to joining Channel, Luke was Regional Sales Manager for Aberdeen Asset Management servicing wholesale clients and intermediaries across Victoria and Tasmania. Prior to this, he was Model Portfolio Manager at AMP where he was responsible for the construction, management and delivery of a suite of managed fund model portfolios to AMP’s network of financial advisers.
Luke holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Economics and a Master of Applied Finance.
Mathew is responsible for the strategic direction, management and efficient support of all Technology Infrastructure and business systems.
Bringing 23 years of business and technology experience with him, Mathew has developed a reputation for delivering business value through technology. Prior to Channel, Mathew held senior management positions including IT Manager, Director of ICT, and CIO across a variety of industries including FMCG, Mining, and Health.
Mat holds a Bachelor of IT (Hons) and MBA from the University of Queensland, as well as a Prince2 Practitioner certification.
Michael is the Channel Group Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for overseeing the financial and business administration for Channel and our associated boutique partners.
He is an experienced finance professional with a career spanning over 25 years as a practicing Chartered Accountant. Michael has a deep understanding of the Wealth industry through his 12 years of working with Westpac Banking Corporation and BT Financial Group (BTFG) covering Funds Management, Insurance and Banking activities. In his most recent role with BTFG, Michael was Head of Finance for the Platforms, Investments and Superannuation business units. He has strong financial control & reporting experience with a proven track record for stakeholder management and leading high performing & diverse teams. Prior to joining Westpac, Michael was a Director with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy from the University of South Australia and is an Associate member of Chartered Accountants of Australia & New Zealand.
As the Chief Compliance Officer, Rebecca oversees Compliance and Governance functions for the company. She also provides support to the Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, including assisting with new partner onboarding, product development, and various other tasks.
With two decades of financial services experience, particularly in funds management and financial advice, Rebecca brings expertise and skill to her role. Before joining Channel, she worked for several financial services organisations, including a 10-year tenure at Cromwell Property Group.
Rebecca holds a Bachelor's of Business Management, a Masters in Financial Planning, and is a Certified Compliance Professional (CCP) through the GRC Institute.

Before joining Channel, Henry was responsible for managing institutional client relationships in the southern regions of Australia at Dimensional, and prior to this held client service and relationship management roles within Dimensional.

Phelim is responsible for building key client relationships for the Eastern seaboard.
Phelim has over 16 years experience in the financial services industry across distribution, project management and stockbroking. Prior to joining Channel, Phelim was a State Account Manager at AMP Capital, servicing private wealth groups and advisers. Phelim has product experience across multiple asset classes and in both public and private markets. Prior roles at AMP Capital include supporting global institutional capital raising efforts and project management within the strategy and transformation team. Prior to moving to Sydney from Dublin, Phelim worked at the Davy Group in Dublin in a stockbroking role.
Phelim holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics & Philosophy from University College Dublin (UCD), a Master’s in Business Management from UCD Business School and a Diploma of Financial Planning with Kaplan.

Prior roles at AMP Capital include supporting global institutional capital raising efforts and project management within the strategy and transformation team. Prior to moving to Sydney from Dublin, Phelim worked at the Davy Group in Dublin in a stockbroking role.

In partnership with a large U.S. consultant and public pension, she led the effort to develop a series of custom indices in Risk Parity, leading to a new product series in passive risk parity for the firm. Kristen was also a member for the firm’s ESG Council.

In addition to her consultant responsibilities, Kristen collaborated on the development and launch of the Carbon Efficiency Strategy, the firm’s first green beta product, and led research and market intelligence on ESG initiatives. He is active in the local community and as a philanthropist and has served on multiple boards, including the Alzheimers Association (MA/NH Chapter), RIAN Immigrant Center, Inly School, and has been active with the American Ireland Funds.

Martin has been providing fund governance and related services to a variety of offshore investment funds since 2010.
Prior to joining Channel Capital Group in April 2023, Martin worked for the Maples Group where he served as an independent director for Cayman Islands and other offshore investment funds covering a wide range of hedge, private equity and infrastructure strategies. Martin was a Fiduciary Fund Manager from 2010 to 2017 at BNY Mellon Fund Management (Cayman) Limited where he provided fiduciary services as well as administration services to a large portfolio of Cayman unit trusts, hedge funds and funds of funds. Prior to that, Martin was a senior client accountant at CIBC Bank and Trust Company (Cayman) Limited after working as a senior tax consultant at KPMG Argentina from 2003 through 2007.
Martin graduated from Buenos Aires University as a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Master of Business Administration from the International College of the Cayman Islands. He is a CFA charterholder, a qualified Trust and Estate Practitioner and a Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA) by the European Federation of Financial Fund Analysts Societies (“EFFAS”). Martin is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (“STEP”), the Cayman Islands Directors’ association and the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (“CIIPA”). Martin has been providing fund governance and related services to a variety of offshore investment funds since 2010.
Prior to joining Channel Capital Group in April 2023, Martin worked for the Maples Group where he served as an independent director for Cayman Islands and other offshore investment funds covering a wide range of hedge, private equity and infrastructure strategies. Martin was a Fiduciary Fund Manager from 2010 to 2017 at BNY Mellon Fund Management (Cayman) Limited where he provided fiduciary services as well as administration services to a large portfolio of Cayman unit trusts, hedge funds and funds of funds. Prior to that, Martin was a senior client accountant at CIBC Bank and Trust Company (Cayman) Limited after working as a senior tax consultant at KPMG Argentina from 2003 through 2007.
Martin graduated from Buenos Aires University as a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Master of Business Administration from the International College of the Cayman Islands. He is a CFA charterholder, a qualified Trust and Estate Practitioner and a Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA) by the European Federation of Financial Fund Analysts Societies (“EFFAS”). Martin is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (“STEP”), the Cayman Islands Directors’ association and the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (“CIIPA”). Martin is also fluent in Spanish.
Katherine is a legally trained, financial services professional with extensive knowledge and experience in the funds management industry. For nearly three decades, Katherine has forged a strong track record in building and positioning investment management businesses for growth, maintaining accountability and developing quality client relationships. She was the former Head of Marketing and Client Services for Suncorp Investment Management Limited from 2004-2008, after which she occupied a similar role with Solaris Investment Management Limited from 2008 until co-founding Channel in 2013.
Katherine holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Bond University.
