Greg is regularly involved in industry and Treasury discussions on regulatory reforms impacting the Australian financial services industry, and has been a member of the Regulatory Committee of the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) Australia for more than five years. He is also a finalist for the Corporate Counsel Awards 2020 in the category of “Financial Services Lawyer of the Year”.

Mat holds a Bachelor of IT (Hons) and MBA from the University of Queensland, as well as a Prince2 Practitioner certification.
Mathew is responsible for the strategic direction, management and efficient support of all Technology Infrastructure and business systems. Rebecca has worked for a number of organisations, including Cromwell Property Group for 10 years. She is responsible for the oversight of the compliance and risk frameworks for Channel Capital and its affiliates, providing proactive support and advice on all governance, risk and compliance matters.
Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Business Management, a Masters in Financial Planning and is a Certified Compliance Professional (CCP) with the GRC Institute.

Prior to joining Channel Capital, Garrick was a Technical Team Lead, managing multiple software development teams in delivering innovative software solutions for the largest childcare management software provider in Australia. Previous to this, Garrick held Solutions Architect, Technical Lead and Senior Software Developer positions across a variety of industries in South Africa.
Garrick holds a Bachelor of Science in IT and Computer Science (Cum Laude) from the University of South Africa.
Garrick is responsible for the technical design, implementation and delivery of digital software solutions used by both Channel Capital and our investment manager partners. He brings with him over 18 years’ experience in software development, successfully delivering software solutions for start-up to enterprise level organisations.

Joanne is responsible for People and Culture at Channel Capital. She is focused on building positive work environments for each of our teams nationally, and manages all personnel issues. Joanne has been part of Channel Capital since inception of the business, and prior to her progression to People and Culture, worked in various finance and business administration positions, dealing with the majority of staff. Previously, Joanne worked for five years with Solaris Investment Management in an office management capacity. Before Solaris, she worked with the investment management team at Suncorp Investment Management.
Joanne is responsible for People and Culture at Channel Capital. She is focused on building positive work environments for each of our teams nationally, and manages all personnel issues. Joanne has been part of Channel Capital since inception of the business, and prior to her progression to People and Culture, worked in various finance and business administration positions, dealing with the majority of staff. Before joining Channel Capital, Scott was a senior fund accountant at JPMorgan in Edinburgh and held various relationship banking roles at NAB. Scott has also served as an Infantry Officer in the Australian and British Army Reserves.

Prior to joining Channel Capital, Nakayla worked as a Compliance Officer for Mainstream Group Holdings. Prior to this, Nakayla was the Compliance Analyst for Cromwell Property Group.

Byron is responsible for building and managing relationships with Retail, Intermediary and Family Office clients in New South Wales, Queensland and the Australian Capital Territory. Byron has ten years experience in financial services across distribution, risk management and accounting. Prior to joining Channel Capital, Byron was a Sales Director for Janus Henderson Investors servicing wholesale clients and intermediaries. Prior to this, Byron was a Risk and Compliance Manager, reporting directly to the Head of Risk and Compliance Asia Pacific, at Janus Henderson Investors (formally Henderson Global Investors). Within this team, Byron was responsible for the development of the risk and compliance framework, investment risk and governance function across the Asia Pacific business. Prior to this, Byron was an Audit In-Charge within the Financial Services Audit Division at KPMG Sydney.

Luke is responsible for the distribution efforts covering the Retail, Intermediary and Family Office space in Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia. Luke is a senior member of the team with more than 15 years experience in the financial services industry across distribution, investment research and product development. Prior to joining Channel, Luke was Regional Sales Manager for Aberdeen Asset Management servicing wholesale clients and intermediaries across Victoria and Tasmania. Prior to this, he was Model Portfolio Manager at AMP where he was responsible for the construction, management and delivery of a suite of managed fund model portfolios to AMP’s network of financial advisers.

Throughout his career, James has built strong relationships with independent and aligned financial advisers and high net worth investors, having spent three years at Pendal as a Key Account Manager, supporting strategic growth developments within the southern region of Australia. James has also worked in similar roles at BlackRock and UBS Wealth Management.
James holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm) from Deakin University majoring in Accounting and Financial Planning. He has obtained a Claritas certificate from the CFA institute.

Angela started her career at Macquarie Investment Management where she spent ten years working in various businesses and across asset classes, products and clients, including private equity, structured products, equities, fixed income and margin lending.

Magda holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Technology Sydney and is currently studying towards her MBA.
