Greg Wong has been shortlisted for the Lawyers Weekly Corporate Counsel Awards 2021

‍Greg Wong has been named as a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly Corporate Counsel Awards 2021 for Financial Services Lawyer of the Year.

The Corporate Counsel Awards is the pinnacle event for recognising in-house lawyers and general counsel, paying respect to the dedication, perseverance and professionalism these lawyers bring to the industry each and every day.

The awards program acknowledges the outstanding contributions and achievements of these lawyers across Australia, bestowing them with a highly coveted accolade, presented in front of a national audience composed of peers and industry leaders.

The finalist list, which was announced on 4 May 2021, features over 150 high-achieving legal professionals across 35 submission-based categories.

“With so much change abound for Australian businesses of all stripes, the pressures on legal departments and governance professionals is greater than ever. In light of such workloads, it is essential that we, as a profession, take time to acknowledge and celebrate the extraordinary efforts and accomplishments of the in-house cohort,” said Lawyers Weekly deputy editor Jerome Doraisamy.
