Thank you for joining us for Channel Capital’s virtual event series in November 2020.
We heard from eight asset managers and four asset allocators from Australia and abroad across impact investment, clean energy infrastructure, market neutral and private equity, global small and mid-cap equities, global emerging and frontier market equities, private debt and high grade bonds. Each session discussed some of the portfolio construction issues that investors are facing as well as the role that non-traditional asset classes can play to help with diversification, risk mitigation and enhanced return potential.
Finding attractive investment opportunities in the current market environment is no easy matter, particularly in the case of large-cap, developed market equities. This session provides guidance on the rationale for looking further afield within a global equities portfolio toward the likes of emerging markets and global small and mid-caps. The panel discusses the growing risks in expensive mega-cap growth stocks and how investors can benefit from diversifying via specialist sub-sector strategies.
